I am an angel. I am the wolf. Beauty and pain. Teeth that bite or Wings that heal? You choose am I an angel or the wolf? Can I be both or only one? Do I Kill or Save souls? Do I sing or Cry? Do I run with the night's moon and stars? What about flying in the morning light? Do I change to Fur when the moon calls? Or do I keep my wings always? What Am I angel or wolf?

As i hear the night wolf's cry, I sit here, and i wonder why. Why is he crying on this dark night, Is he wounded from his previous fight. It wont matter soon as he runs from the light, As he does at the end of another dark night. If he's not fast enough he will surely die, As i hear once again the night wolf's cry. For you see, the wolf and i are one, One for the night as the day is gone. He is the one who stole my life, With one bite that felt like a knife. On one dark and gloomy night. we once had a valiant fight. It was then that i felt the night wolf's bite, I fell down until running from the light. This is the story of the night wolf's cry, And i tell thee of what happened to I. From one good day to hells dark night, Which was turned with just one bite.

I am a Sapphire color of the dark blue Like the bottom of the ocean Who has hidden her secret tears On a wild stormy night She has no fright Willed as lightening Willed as the wind Willed as the rain Willed as a hurricane I then hear now the winds howl Like the wolf who Suddenly, Mysteriously appears In the night's mist That I call the rain wolf And that is now what I call myself.

Eyes of yellow, gold and brown, Shinning like fireflies, Through the dark of the night, You sing your sad song, At the sight of the moon, That we may never know the words to, You move so swiftly and silently, I don't know where you are, Or where you might be, The look in your eyes, Makes you look so understanding and wise, You are a creature of the night, Who travels only by moonlight, Your name is known to all, Which I like to call, The wolf of the midnight call.

Everday I walk by, I have to stop, Have to cry. There he lays menacing and mean, The dog that's my best friend, Behind his eyes is a pain not commonly seen. Whiskey's not mine though, No, but he'll listen to me, He is everything that I want to know. Eyes the color of a sunny day sky, His silver white fur gleams silky in the sun, And personally I don't see why... I am drawn to sit down in the dirt, To the only male who won't judge what I wear, Who'll listen to my rants and hurt. Whiskey's wet nose shoves into my palm when he knows I'm sad, He'll try to crawl into my lap like the way he did when he was young, His breath though comforting smells bad. I love him like a human being, He my brother that I've always wanted. I think he likes the side of me he's seeing. The kind whose brittle and warm, Eyes holding a pain as raw as his, But will stand strong in a fierce storm. In some ways I am like him, A fierce wolf on a chain, Trying not to let the world break my limb.

They call you nature's majesty so mysterious, wild and free As I see your paw prints in the snow I ponder on the things you know You are so gentle and kind at heart How could anyone tear you apart I hear you at night howling at the moon to let your family know you'll be home soon As you search for food for the day I watch your little ones hard at play How could anyone think you are a beast when we are so much alike even to the least I want to show you how much I care for I will spread the word on what we share Your one great enemy is man I promise to you I'll help them understand

I am a lone wolf, gone astray form the pack Lost in a circle and don’t know my way back A print on the path that washed away Left me lost yet another day Through the darkness of night under the moonlit sky Waves the branch of a weeping willow with a silent cry The breeze is mild , so I am aware Of the night dangers that are out there With all fours I lay down on the ground Listening to the whispers all around Soon the skies will lighten into another day And I will again be on my way Eyes intense and very wide Looking forward, back and to the side My journey is long and sometimes I am weary Yet , I must keep awake and be leary Of the evils around me that wait to attack To shoot me in the shoulder, in the head or in the back Then silently I creep into the night once again Searching the narrow path to the very end I am a lone wolf, gone astray from the pack Lost in a circle , but want to find my way back

It was fall when Heidi Wolf wafted in Clothe in the mist of a redolent wind Silhouetted by the waning moon Framed in the window of a pitch-black room Though the fragrant wind untilled the air The wind chimes hung silent riveted to despair The smell of hell perfumed the room Blood-shot eyes narrated visions of doom In the blackness deep as a bottomless hole Flagitious spirits wager for a wounded soul Lucifer rolled the dice twice, with a poetic charm But the Good Book flew open at the 27th Psalm Heidi Wolf surveyed the scene And festooned the room with her gracious beam From the west she summoned her Zephyr friend And a choir of angels the wind chimes send Then the dimmed moon ripened with light And Grim and his minions took flight When dawn arrived she stayed awhile And as the season changed she waved goodbye Across the field she gusted and frolicked carefree The lush meadows kissed undulated like the sea Now and again on a dark and stormy night When a shadowy moon with-holds its light And goblins and demons appear on the wall Heidi Wolf springs to mind like that day last fall
