For those of you that haven't heard yet.. and actually care about me, Two nights ago I fell asleep with a candle burning and it set my bed on fire. Within moments the whole room was engulfed in flames. My daughter heard me scream and grabbed the dog and threwher out the window. Then grabbed her brother and made sure that he got out of the window and then dove out of the window. She then ran back around the house to make sure that my parents were awake and that they made it out of the house. (I lived with my parents to help take care of my father since he had a stroke.)
The room was so filled with smoke that while I was trying to put out the fire I didnt see that the kids made it out the window. Fearing that my children were still in the roomn ..I attempted to pull the blankets back off the burning bed to make certain that they were alive.
In doing so I received second degree burns on my right hand and right leg and first degree burns on both of my arms and my face.
I am normally a person that doesn't ask anyone for help. But if anyone should feel the need to do that, as of tommorow we will have a donation account up and running. I will give the information out if anyone is interested.
