Good morning/good afternoon, everyone! What a crazy week this has been, lol.
Update on Jennifer aka daughter #1: She WILL be doing prison time, but she doesn't seem too upset. The judge will decide how long her sentence is on July 26, I believe! She will be able to do her drug rehab while incarcerated, thank the Goddess! The time she has been sitting in jail will count off of her total jail time. My one big point of contention is that they have totally changed her meds around - so they fit with the jail's regular med distributing times! What crap! Her memory has always been bad, at least since her IV meth use - now she can't remember anything very long. I wish these people would stop screwing with her meds!!! Ah, well. Not my problem, I guess!
Her guys aren't handling this as well as they might! They understand, but then they don't, really! Dakota is having the hardest time, but then he's never lived with his Mom.
Jessica aka daughter #2 has arrived with her crew. It's really kind of funny. My troops are all male. We now have a 9 year old girl visiting, lol! This is Jess's SO's daughter. She is such a cutie, but she is at that lovely age when teenage boys start to look "interesting" in an odd sort of way, lmao! And she is totally enamored with my belly dancing jinglies! I may need to start sending her belly dancing gear for special occasions - I'm even going to take her to class with me, lmao! Such a hoot! Alex, my 9 year old grandson, is very quiet this year - don't think he likes sharing with Cairissy! Yes, I will try to remember to take pics and post them, lol! Jess and Iain seem to be doing just fine. Last night they taught my guys how to play Texas Hold'em - nothing like good family time, playing poker, lmao!
More than halfway through the Mercury Retrograde! I'm so very glad! I'm trying to just ignore the overwhelming sadness that tries to take over every day. I just hate this part! I absolutely refuse to give in to it!
Monday we will all be going to Madison to visit William - delightful that I get to see him twice, this close together!
Wednesday is the 4th of July holiday. We are all going to the Second Annual Back Yard Doings at my niece Maria's house. Last year was a hoot! We had a marshmallow fight over the campfire in the evening. My sister has a surprise for everyone this year - she bought the kids all marshmallow shooters online, lmao! They shoot the minimarshmallows. She and I have the fancy marshmallow shooters - they shoot the big marshmallows! I think I want a marshmallow bazooka, lmfao!! This year, it's bring your own marshmallows, lol!
Guess that's enough for now! I'm sure Jess et al. will be calling shortly for me to put the coffee on!
