I just moved to NC from CT in December. I am originally from Nebraska and have moved to all these states for a guy. I was born in San Francisco, grew up in the Bay Area until I was 24, when I joined The Army...stayed in the reserves for 12 years! Freedom ain't free, baby. Kinda weird, cuz I grew up a 'Peace. Love & Brown Rice' kinda gal...so I went into the medical profession in the military to help people. Got two medals during the Contra/Sandinista Conflict while stationed in Honduras, Central America for 'Outstanding Merritotious Service in a Foriegn Country' Was a Platoon Sergeant for 3 years. Got out while married to my second husband (a civilian) because my career put a strain on the relationship. We divorced anyway...wish I had stayed in the full 20! I've got two wonderful kids...Frederick Arthur Hartley III aka Erich, and DeeAnna Lee Bennett aka Dee Lee Bee. Moved to New England Jan 2004. Miss Cali, but it's nice in the country too.
