This is going to be a work in progress. I am originaly from Barrington, Illinois and worked in the Emergency Medical Services field as a Paramedic for 17 years. I retired in 1992 and reached the rank of Chief. I moved to Florida in 1995. In November of 1995 on the day before Thanksgiving, I underwent open heart surgery to replace the Mitral Valve. Since that time I have had multiple strokes, two heart attacks and as recently as July, underwent brain surgery to remove two blood clots that developed.
