is taking inventory of things around you. While sick, I just slept on the couch and in my bed for the greater majority of the time, with a few exceptions of braving a few moments of sitting up at the computer.
Last week, while recovering, I took it easy still while reporting back to work by sleeping much of the moments I was at home. Unfortunately, that didn't get things done around the home.
Part of the hazards of living alone now is there is no one there to help pick up the slack. :( After all, part of the joy of having a spouse is being there for one another and working as a team. Too bad I can't call my daughter to help come to my rescue!! lol... With her working and being pregnant, that is about all she can think of right now and that is the way it should be.
I look around...
some trash bags are filled and readied to be dragged out to the complex's dumpster....
dishwasher needs to be emptied...
a few dishes needs to be put in the dishwasher...
refrigerator needs to be cleaned out....
litter boxes for the cats need to be cleaned out...
carpets need vacuuming...
and some washing needs to be done.
Nothing too bad. Just two weeks of being sick has taken the toll on my home. Unfortunately, I am working a shift and a half today. Probably, won't see a bit of cleaning opportunity until tomorrow.
Any volunteers to help????
