Relatively new here at the LC.Great place I injoy it hear.About me have been an alcoholic for 32 yrs.Also have done an been hooked on various Drugs as well.Last night went to my first NA meting in 10 yrs.With my new friend,Jennefer,whom I met threw a friend,I have been doing work on her car.Just friends but friends is better than nothing.I heard so many stories last night an many resemble my own.I started drinking about a month before I turn'd 18,that was the drinking age back then.Mostly Beer ,Wine.Started Smoking Pot at 18.Then I was introduced to Heroin.But in the sm.town Grew up in they didn't call it that.Had gone back to school was doing good when this new addiction took control of my Life.Back then a $5 bag,was alot.I fucked up in school as I was constantly going to the wrong classes.Then I went on to $ 10 bag aday.What a High it gave me,the Buzz fellt like Acid,Pot,an Qauludes all in 1.Then came the gut wrenching Withdrawlals.Took lots of Willpower an sickness but I got myself off it on my own.Qauludes helped a bit.Valiums.2 stints in rehab for trying to get my mom to smoke pot.Then started doing Acid,Mescaline,pot more booze pills etc.Then I got married first time at 22.We both did the acid,pot,booze.Wild sex parties 3-somes,group etc.Then she left me for another women.Started drinking wicked Heavy.I held my Job as lead Shipper Reciever.Still smoked pot Heavy.Then came the Cocaine yrs.Snorting it was ok at first but my nose started bleeding couldn't breath out of it,got hooked on nose decongestives.Then my buddy stated shooting up with his new Gf.Then I did,wow that was the best high,double pumping that serygne( Brain Fart).Ultimate high.Was very hard getting off that as well did it on my own an with help from NA.Still smoked massive quality's of weed.Always worked always paid my rent,Worked for my various habits.Worked hard played hard.Back in those days most of my sexual acts were with married or in a relationship women.1 of the bitches I brought home I couldn't get rid of.Ended up moving in with me.Then I got hurt on the Job.Workmens comp was late arriveing my rent 2 months behind.Paula says to me marry me or vacate your apt.I did what I had to do.Marriage of Hell.10 days later my checks started comein in.Drinking follow's Pain Medication addiction took control of my life again.Damn Stigma of the drug world.Then I lived with 1 of my drinking friends an Fishing Partners.Still Smoking Pot,doing acid,going to the Bars every night,an I'm only 28.In my mind this all stems from the falling out with my mother over selling my boyhood home.I left alot out,I'll fill it in with another Blog.then continue this one.I should get dressed now an go to another Meetin at Noon.Meeting aday will maybe keep my jonesing away
