My Words Meaning

When you ask how I am,
And the only word I say is “ok”
It means something is wrong,
And I want you to ask.
When you ask if you should call,
And I say “if you want”
It means that’s a stupid question,
Of course I want you too.
When were talking,
And I say “I love you”
It means just that,
And I’m thinking about us.
When I get silent,
And then say “I miss you”
It means I wish you were,
Holding me tight in your arms.
Every word I speak,
Is carefully chosen,
And has a meaning much deeper,
Then the words themselves.
So listen close,
To all I say,
For every word has a clue,
To how I really feel deep within.
