Excuse Me a Few
By: April Terry
Excuse me a few,
While I admire you.
I just can’t help,
But to watch you times.
Your eyes are always,
So full of love.
Your smile’s so big,
It brightens my day.
Every movement,
Done with such poise
I just can’t help,
But to sit and stare.
When I was younger,
I’d always hoped.
That one day,
I’d find the one.
But never in all my life,
Did I think I would.
Now that I have you,
I can’t do without.
Who would of thought,
I could love this much?
Surly not I,
But I am glad.
Excuse me a few,
While I fall all over.
What can I say,
You have such charm.
Every time I see you,
I fall over again.
Head over hills,
Just for you love.
You spin my world,
Round and round.
You add meaning,
Where it lacked before.
When I was younger,
I wanted my own family.
And since I’ve found you,
That’s just what I have.
I always dreamt of arms,
I couldn’t live without.
And a touch,
I just can’t get enough of.
And love that purer,
Then falling snow flakes.
And in you,
I have all that and more.
