I've been reading all the media and postings on Chris Benoit's death and i would like to say a few things.
First, I admit it was wrong for him to kill his wife and son but enough is enough. There are a lot of issues that we the public do not know about regarding Chris' personal life. No one knew what was going through his mind to cause him to do these criminal things. Ever since the WWE was in court over the steriods abuse each WWE superstar has to take a physical several times a year to ensure that they are not abusing themselves internally. If the meds found in the house were prescribed are WE the public going to punish the doctor(s) who gave Chris the meds? I think not. They prescribed the meds to him but did not tell him to take more than necessary.
Second, at first when it was announced that all three were dead what was the first thing done by the WWE?? They canceled the original program and dedicated the 3hr show to the memory of the Benoit's. One day later after the police have disclosed their findings (Chris killing his wife and son before killing himself) all of a sudden the WWE apologizes for giving up the program and has DELETED everything that had to do with Benoit on the WWE website (profile, merchandise, etc.) THIS PISSES ME OFF. Benoit was a great athlete and performer for the WWE (holding numerous titles) and THIS is how they treat him NOW??? It's as if they never hired him in the first place!!! Go to the website and do a search on Chris Benoit. YOU WONT FIND ANYTHING ON HIM OR HIS CAREER.
Third and finally, I feel that those who jumped on the bandwagon and now abandoned the memory of Chris, his wife Nancy (aka WOMAN the manager from the WCW days), and their son Daniel are in need of a serious reality check. WAIT TILL ALL THE FACTS ARE PRESENTED BEFORE YOU START TO JUDGE!!!
