Some that's good and some that's bad--you win, you lose
So I guess things haven't changed

I guess I should have seen how this would end

When you look back on your life, do you see what could have been
and how today might be worth it
if you'd believed in yourself to achieve some sort of peace
and if you'd believed you deserved it?
To understand bitter, you've gotta taste sweet
To feel a true victory, gotta take a defeat

how to love, who to trust, that it's OK to be weak
how to grow, to be a man, when to stand up and speak
how to laugh, where to play, how to show what you feel
when to hide your selfish pride and just learn how to deal
