Kristen Stewart wears chic lace dress to accept best supporting actress

She likes to mix up her red carpet style with equal measures of feminine and androgynous looks.

Kristen Stewart arrived at the 2015 New York Film Critics Circle Awards on Monday night sporting a very chic two-piece dress showing off her slender limbs.

The 25-year-old star was one of many A-listers at the event held at TAO restaurant in Downtown New York.

The Still Alice star donned a leather-look quilted frock with lace bodice and hem which flattered her petite figure.

She teamed it with black pointed heels and swept her brunette locks back in a no-fuss style.

A subtle smokey-eye and some bronzer completed her look.

The actress accepted the best supporting actress award for her role in Clouds of Sils Maria.

Pals: Kristen caught up with her Still Alice co-star Julianne Moore inside the venue

She stars opposite Juliette Binoche who plays a film star coming to terms with an uncomfortable reflection of herself while starring in a revival of the play that launched her career.

She has a penchant for jeans, t-shirts and Vans sneakers. But when it's time to hit the red carpet, Kristen Stewart sure knows how to clean up well.

The Twilight star attended an event at Tao restaurant in NYC dressed in one of her favorite brands, Chanel. Pulled from the Pre-Fall 2016 runway, the co-ord set was made of quilted leather with sheer lace panels.

You can't go wrong with a leather skirt in your closet. Whether mini or mid length like Kristen's just slip it on with a sweater and a pair of knee high boots to last you all through winter.

And while this luxury look is not available online, you can still recreate the style with one of the options below. From Nanette Lepore to Jay Ahr, we've got all budgets covered.

Also there on Monday to accept a gong was Spotlight star Michael Keaton, 64, who took home the award for best actor and Saoirse Ronan who scooped best actress for Brooklyn.

Kristen chatted it up with her Still Alice co-star Julianne Moore as the duo were seated next to each other in the venue.

Susan Sarandon meanwhile had hugs for everybody and was even seen perched on Moore's lap at the dinner table.

On Sunday, the National Society of Film Critics tweeted that the Twilight alum scored their trophy for best supporting actress.

It's been nearly a year since Kristen impressively won the César Award (French Oscar) for Clouds of Sils Maria.

Kristen will next play a troubled student called Sophie in Tim Blake Nelson's Anesthesia.

The indie drama - released VOD next Friday - also stars Glenn Close, Gretchen Mol, and Corey Stoll.

Kristen will likely attend the January 24 premiere of her next film, Certain Women, at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah.

She plays young lawyer Beth Travis in the Montana drama, which also stars Michelle Williams, Laura Dern, and Rosanna Arquette.
