lost

lost in a world of politics own and run by health/medicine companies. Forced by their rules/laws will they just set me free and give me my life &freedom back? as they sit back and gorge on their riches & glory not learning a thing there is more to life than money. But many people dont see it. Im glad I wasnt raised out of greed,to be selfish. But at times I regret MY kindness because it gets me trampeled on. Like a doormat.outside looking in & its sole purpose is to look pretty&Accept its fate.2 bwalked on

What a week

hmm I think all of last week is catching up. Im literally exhausted and I went to bed around 8ish last night. throw some covers over me and let me go back to sleep!!
Today was the day they were suppose to give me my insulin pump and today everything was suppose to change for the better,I was suppose to get my life back in order and I had some high hopes only for things to crumble.WHAT A CROCK OF SHIT!! I go to the dr despite the long drive it was a rough morning. I see dr. lee and we talk and he has my results and my 3 month test which averages out how high my levels are.. well a good level is 5 and under.. mine is 12.75 .. so he says i am totally resisiting my insulin.... so he says ok this is what we have to do.. you need to take 60 units of levimire in the am and night time... 2 shots more insulin.... 20 units before and after every meal.... ok 3 meals a day =6 shots plus the two.. 8.. if you have snack 2 more shots because i eat dinner normally early i have to eat something prior to taking my eve shotso that is 2more ... 10 shots total.. plus he put me on a medicine to do with some kidney... and in the process of trying to digest this he says once a day you will be put on u-500 which is a highly concentrated insulin... 10units is like 50 units of normal insulin... this is human insulin and well its some strong stuff. not to mention the vitamins and the chronium i am taking. just call me pin cushion. did i mention before each meal i test my insulin then 20 min after i take my insulin i take it.. and if my levels are high i have to take extra insulin?? they want me to do this and then go for more tests then some classes, but they have to get my levels down before i get my pump. Like how much longer will I have to go thru this. Im really sick of taking shots and now I have to take more. My head feels like it is going to explode.. Ide like to thank all of you who sent me good luck wishes on ct,yahoo email etc. And pre-advance warn that I wont be my happy go lucky self because this is going to make me misreable. I wont be here bitching and complaining like most would, I will be on from time to time but not as often because one of the side effects of the tablets I am starting... is stomah and intestional problems, ranging from vomiting to the shits.... the fun stuff. so tell me when everything else fails what does one do. when they try so hard for it all to have hell break loose? what did i do to deserve this? I give my all. I try and help those who need it.. Im a good friend... mother.. etc. Im just so sick of this ... if it werent for my son take care guys i will be in from time to time jupie

going to niagara falls

So I am going to my parents this weekend. I havent seen them since Jan. but that is to kinda cool waters prior to telling them what may go on Tues. I have always been the type to keep things to me and kinda keep to myself about personal health matters. they know my diabetes is bad and i told them im a candidate for the pump... but i didnt actually tell them that tues he might just give it to me. with how my sugars run high as they do, there is a high possibility of the issue of me getting sick (shock) and i didnt really want to worry them with it. They have far more worries than that to have on their mind. I have some really good friends who say its going to be ok. but honestly im scared out of my damn mind. more so the last few days. like shakey panicing, the I cant breathe kinda butterfly in my stomach crap. Not really wanting to eat or hungry and i attribute that to the fear that has been sinking in . yes it will change me for the better, and i will be able to regain alot of things back. but is there a sacrifice for this? is stopping the 5-8 shots a day for the pleasure of a device ... does it come with any recourses. Its a good thing so Im convinced but I still cant help but wonder about the cons. what happens if something goes wrong?.... well anyways I am packing and getting things ready. its going to be a relaxing weekend with no issues just a time to kinda mellow. talk to you all when i get back
Heh so I am helping fix stuff at work.. and I have filled 3... not one 3.. 8gb flashdrives with images that were on my boss's pc.. and I have to go home and resize them to the correct size and hmm i think when its all said and done they will fit one. Does anyone know of a mass image resizing program I can use so I dont have to do this manually and be doing it for umm weekkkkkks on end. we are talking well over 6K pictures! -Jupie

A transparent window is built into the ACCU-CHEK Tender infusion sets hypoallergenic cotton adhesive base, which allows the wearer to easily detect inflammation at the infusion site. ACCU-CHEK Tender infusion sets also feature PVC-free double-layer tubing with an inner layer of polyethylene, and an outer layer of polyurethane. The polyethylene allows for minimal filling volume, the polyurethane gives skin-friendliness. Disconnection with the ACCU-CHEK Tender infusion set couldn't be simpler. The connection slides into and out of the base with an audible <> which allows for safe connection without looking at the infusion site. The ACCU-CHEK Tender infusion set is also available in a 13mm "mini" size -- a shorter-cannula version of our popular ACCU-CHEK Tender infusion set. ACCU-CHEK Tender "mini's" infusion set 13mm cannula is nearly 25% shorter than the 17mm cannula in the original ACCU-CHEK Tender infusion set. Since it is 4mm shorter, ACCU-CHEK Tender "mini" infusion sets may seem less intimidating to patients when compared to the longer 17mm cannula. What’s more, the shorter cannula may allow a more appropriate insertion angle for those who can't insert the regular-size ACCU-CHEK Tender infusion set at the suggested 30-degree angle due to minimal subcutaneous tissue. ACCU-CHEK Tender and ACCU-CHEK Tender "mini" infusion sets are designed to work with all standard luer lock insulin pumps, including Medtronic MiniMed 504 - 508 pumps, Animas pumps and Smiths-Deltec pumps. ACCU-CHEK Tender and ACCU-CHEK Tender "mini" are not compatible with Medtronic MiniMed Paradigm® series pumps, nor are they compatible with insertion devices like the Sil-serter. ACCU-CHEK Tender 2 and ACCU-CHEK Tender 2 “mini” infusion sets Both ACCU-CHEK Tender and ACCU-CHEK Tender "mini" infusion sets may be purchased in complete sets or in sets with extra cannula bases. The ACCU-CHEK Tender infusion sets have a built-in injection guide and are therefore compatible with both pens and syringes, in case the user would occasionally like to inject through the infusion site without having to make an additional insertion. Plus, unlike other similar infusion sets, the at-base disconnection of the Tender leaves no extra "pig tail" of tubing, reducing the risk of catching on clothing and dislodgement. tender1.jpgtenderinuse.jpg Specifications Introducer Needle 27-gauge stainless steel Cannula 25-gauge soft Teflon® cannula Cannula Lengths: 13mm, 17mm Tubing Inside: Polyethylene Outside: Polyurethane Tubing Lengths: 60 cm (24"), 80 cm (31"), 110 cm (43") Luer Lock Standard Cannula filling volume Introducer needle displacement: at least 0.5 - 1 unit (U-100 insulin) Priming volume per set (U-100 insulin) 60 cm/24 in.: approx. 10 units 80 cm/31 in.: approx. 13 units 110 cm/43 in.: approx. 18 units
