It has been a rough year,

And through all the tears,

We have faced all our fears.

There has been so much pain,

But yet there is so much to gain

We will walk in the rain.

For those who have gone on before us,

There memories will live on.

The golden gates will open,

And another angel will go home.

We will sing a song,

And stay strong.

I will never turn away,

Because I know everything will be okay.

When that flag is flying high,

I will not say goodbye.
