Her heart.... she wrote the truth that fateful day knowing what would happen she could have written… Exactly what he wanted to hear if she did it may have prolonged their clandestine meetings but there was never any guarantee and you see she had this feeling he made it clear with his words where she stood…last in the scheme of things and yes, she knew he never promised anything her heart still beats the earth still turns the world still exists and life moves on she smiles she laughs she writes yet everyday, many times, he comes to mind still she desires to be his quiet port in a storm and it appears her love will never die she’ll always want him by her side she wrote the truth spoke what was in her heart knew what would happen and it did she hasn’t seen him since nor would she change a thing she said... Except the words from anger and hurt
