The quest has been long, I long for it to end.
Bring on the rain to make fertile the garden that I tend.
My garden is filled with the seeds of Love,
In hope that God will send an Angel from above.
An Angel walked into my garden, the seeds began to grow
Turned and looked into my heart, and tears begin to flow
Tears of joy flowed like rain, Love began to sprout
I knew that it was this Angel, I couldn't live without
I took the Angel into my arms and we gently kissed
This was the Love that my heart had truly missed
As we held each other there standing in the rain
I knew the years tending my garden had not been in vain
