Ok for the gamers out there here is my run down and list of games i have played for 3 months or more in beta or live. I have played since 1997 so i have alot of experiance.
For those unfamiliar with these terms Free to Play is F2P and Pay to Play is P2P. The diffrence is F2P has no monthly fee, but might have a purchase fee. P2P normally has a Purchase and Monthly fee from 10-15 dollars a month US.
Due to the rules on this site, and im unsure if its ok to blog a url, i will be leaving the url's and company names out of this list. However you can google them and find them, if you find one your interested in and want you can pm me for the url.
Silkroad Online (F2P)
This is a cool asian game, you are hack and slash style game but the fun part is the PVP system. Instead of open pvp, or clan pvp. (which might be added by now) you have a trader sysetm. with traders, theifs and hunters. You buy goods in one town and transport them for good money to another town, and theifs (players) can try and steal it from you and sell it in a theif town. This is a fun game if you need something new to play.
9dragons (F2P) (video in my stash)
Kung fu style game, where you gain levels to gain new skills, and the skills them selfs must be used to level them and make them stronger. This game is pretty cool and defenitly diffrent from most MMO games. I recomend this for those looking for a Free game.
2Moons (F2P)
This is another free game, you can youtube for it and also for Dekaron. Which is the game core for 2moons. This game is your normal hack and slash with magic. It plays diffrent and does have a murder system for open PVP. Fun game and looks good to.
Exteel (F2P)
This game is a all out pvp game, think transformers and you get the idea. The only caviot to this game is the screen resolution is locked at 1024x768. I did not test it for long because they were slow on my invite. But worth picking up if you want a diffrent kind of pure pvp game.
Guildwars (F2P after purchase)
This game is a all out hack and slash, the original game can be played solo very easily. There are few times you must group, but the game is defenitly made for group fun. The pvp in it is instanced and can be very enjoyable with a good core group of players.
Age of Armor
Another game that looks and feels like a transformers game. I however only beta tested it for 2 weeks due to a new game being released.
Tabula Rasa (P2P) (Video in my stash)
This is a MMOFPS it is a very good looking and well played game. It has lots to do, and like any other MMO the leveling is rather fast till about the 1/2 way mark. Then it slows but is bearable. The pvp in here is limited at this time, you have to be in a clan war that lasts for 7 days, and kills beyond 5 level diffrence does not count.
Lost Chaos (F2P)
another hack and slash has a pvp system that seems to be very open. was not highly impressed with it.
Sword or the New World
This game i tested however there were making a change to the pay style of the game. I am unsure how it ended. This game is very new to the types of MMOs out there, it is worth tring to see something tottaly new. You must do the tutorial in this game you first time playing, and you will want to do it. As you control 3 charectures at once while playing. However that is this games caviot, there are hundreds of afk levelers cause the charectures will auto attack for you.
Dark Age of Camelot (P2P)
Older game with a very well done PVP system. Infact they encourage you to PvP to increase your charectures abilitys and skills. They have a siege warfare system that i have yet to see in any other game. This game is slowly dieing tho its been out for near 6 years now, however if you look hard enough you can find a free server to play on if you bored and just want something to play with while you wait on a new game.
Fury (F2P purchase to play)
This game is another pure pvp game, you must pvp to gain new skills. The game has a pay system to but i am unsure about how it works. The game was fun, and has a nice system setup so you only need one charecture to make as many charecture variations as you can imagine. The best part about this is that you never have to log out to change your setup.
upcoming games to watch for..
Warhammer online
This game is going to be based off th original warhammer table top game. the company making this is also the dark age of camelot company so the PVP in this game will rock. It looks like a wow clone but knowing this company the only thing that looks wow like will be the art.
Stargate Worlds
Think SG1 and you have this game, because they are following alot of SG1 storylines for this game, they have the tv writers helping them to insure a feeling of being in the tv show rather then being a mock up of a popular movie.
Jumpgate Evolution
This game is coming near beta soon, the video they have shows a very nice looking game, and if your tired of FRS and Fantasy settings this game will be worth a try.
