They Stand before all others They Walk miles farther then any others They face the heat They Face the cold They are stronger in spirit then i can write about. Remember us Honor Us Write about Us Kneel and pray for us They stand because no others will They stand so others do not have to They stand in the face of death With Determination on their faces Honor in their hearts and Loved ones on their minds History gave us them History almost forgot what they did But the 300 stood strong and by their example by their courage Our democracy was born. Now it is our time just as they did to stand strong to face all odds to honor their sacrifice by standing as they did. Honor is earned Sacrifice is given Courage is found And Hero's are those who stand as the 300 did for freedom for honor for country and before god. These days we multiple that 300 by 100 fold to insure less are lost and more return home. As the Spartans of old Our brothers and sisters serve to protect their land and to offer freedom to those oppressed as free men and woman they chose to stand strong they chose to serve and they chose to face death. If not for their sacrifice of freedom to serve we would not be here with the freedom we share we would not have freedom to be who we are. By the ways of the 300 our soldiers serve they serve for democracy born in ancient times and today serve it for the freedom it has given them. Just as then we rely on those Who are willing to take a stand and we honor those who fall by covering them in their final sleep with the banner they served a flag to warm them as they lay in rest. For this we honor them as the 300 are remembered through out history for taking a stand when all others failed to have the heart and their history shall show. They stood as free men and woman to raise the oppression of a people who have never tasted freedom They stood as free men and woman to defend their homes and familys while others felt it was not warrented They stood as free men and woman to honor democracy and to never forget that day september eleventh. I lay asleep one night I dream of all that fight I see the wars of all time, World War Two, Korea, and 'Nam, The soldiers dead stand before me, and put me on the judgement stand. They ask why, and i ask why about what, They part and i see, people buring the colors of the free. Then again they ask why, I say I am not a judge of them, I am a soldier just like you. I put my life before theirs, and I judge their actions not. Again they ask why and again i have no answer. Then their tears fall, and their words flow, to me they explain the colors true. They say in unison with love and devotion, THE WHITE STANDS FOR USE THAT WILL FIGHT, THE BLUE IS FOR FREEDOM WE SERVE TRUE, THE RED IS FOR THE BLOOD WE ALL HAVE SHED. And again they ask why, Now with tears in my eyes, I understand and say, I can judge them not. They don't know, they don't relize. Then I say forgive them, and ask me not to judge for i see it as you. Because I now serve as you did, they bow to me and ask forgiveness. Because i experiance their pain, and i am one as they were, Infantry and destine to serve. Then with their eyes lifted to me, they agree I can not judge. I can not see the americans becoming insane. Cause they have not walked for their colors or served their time. They only wish to know why, their colors they spilt blood for, is not honored, as they were. When the flag covered them, and warmed them in their final sleep. I again see and agree, I say I am sorry, but untill they see, in their own way they will never know. And only we the infantry will honor you and your pain, as we try to get the freedom filled Americans, To relize their wrong, until then they only dishonor their country, Cause they know not what has been done, to get what they have, by many that have and will soon die.
