You say you still love me. Can this be true
After all the hurt you’ve put me through
You tell me you miss me and need me around
So what’s the reason you kick when I’m down
You burden me with all of your fears
And expect my shoulder to catch all your tears
Your troubled mind is set in its ways
And this is the reason that I wont stay
There no reason for us to work all this out
You know what you did so stop trying to shout
Listen for once its my turn to speak
Just close your mouth and pull up a seat
The scars that you left on my heart alone
Is no comparison to what you did to my soul
I tore down the wall that surrounded my heart
To let you and I have a fresh new start
Little did I know you were here for the ride
When times got to hard you left my side
All alone till I’m back on my feet
Then here you come again ready to eat
Sleepless and distracted by those lonely nights
I let you come back to screw up my life
All this for what? What did I seek?
Nothing with you I was just weak
Afraid to let go afraid of the past
What made me think that our love would last
You left me before and you’d do it again
Another reason that we wont be friends
This is my goodbye to you, just get a clue
Its over it’s done, you and I are through.
