Lonely

Night time is near , I’m alone once more
A lonely night so I lock the door
I lay awake so determine to sleep
I close my eyes and constantly weep
I think of her throughout the night
And how I wish I could hold her tight
To be together until death do us part
She was the reason my life would start
The beginning of her love was precious and true
She knew just who I was and knew what to do
To keep me happy to make me see
That love was destined for her and me
The times we shared were perfect and rare
The happiness I felt I just knew she cared
She put passion in everything she did for me
She made me believe that I could be king
So I gave her my heart only to find
That love was not destined love led me blind
