We sit and stare at the itty bitty dream machine,
the glare is only noticable in between the kerosene,
commercials thought out carefully,
consumers captured unsparingly
spirits reduced to barely being
spending surpasses everything
especially any future seen
on big brothers brand new plasma screen.
Desperately searching for destiny
deliberately damning everything,
that might dare to detour or desturb
sabatours word.
Forced to endure the dispear declared,
compared without a care incurred.
Observe the heard absurd but yet inclined
to define the place and the time that we abandon
our minds, maybe yours but not mine.
To leave lonely behind the space and the dime
it takes to decide, recycle resign, regret or remind, rebirth
or redie, decide or go hide.
Hesitate to live life and let life pass you by.
I learn lessons each time I let my selfishness die.
Determined despite these demons of mine,
that float flightless at night, the next up to fight forever
as knights, jousting for justice just as you might.
