The general rule of buy-ins for a family add is 4-5 credits per person depending on if you are running this during a Happy Hour. Keep in mind that it cost 1 credit to transfer fees. Some may ask to send a bling, others will ask for a famp trade (famping each other,) or make other offers. Learn who you can trust for these deals because not everyone will keep up their end of the deal!
Most asked questions I get is how do I ask? and who do I ask?
Who you ask depends on who you are friends with really... but all the red name people and maybe even top 20 dudes and chicks from last week are a good bet to start with! Look on the computer under the Hottest tab, and you should be able to find plenty of people to ask.
Why do people buy into famps?
It's all about the rates... the more rates you get, the better it is towards lifetime achievements!
Here are some examples of how to ask, cause I wasn't really sure how else to explain it, lol
Short and simple version:
Running a famp (date and time) - Buy ins available - (4 without HH, 5 with HH) credits per person.
This is an example of a PM I would send to all the red name people and maybe even top 20 dudes and chicks from last week!
On (insert date) I am going to be trying for (name achievement) and am selling as many fam spots as I can, I have (# of family spots) left! I'm selling fam spots for the day for ?? credits for one spot. I wanted to give you a heads up in advance so you can reserve your spot while I still have regular fam spots available! Please let me know if you are interested in buying in or if you have any questions. And thank you either way for your time and I hope you'll stop by to like/rate me all day that day!!
Messages to family members you may need to move for the day in order to sell spots! If you are expecting buy-ins before your run, most will expect to go in regular family as soon as they send the credits/bling/make the deal.
This is what I would send and say to the ones you think might actually care:
Hi there, I just wanted to take a moment to drop you a note in order to let you know about upcoming events on my page! You know I always have you in my fam and stop by your page. On (insert date) I am going to be trying for (name achievement) and am selling as many fam spots as I can to get the credits I need for bling and ability resets. I just wanted to take a moment to let you know I am going to remove you from my regular fam just for that day to try to get what I need to go for the achievements I need to level. Thank you for being such a great friend and of course once my run is over you will be back in my fam where you belong!
If they haven't been on recently but you still want to send a msg you can say something like this:
Hi there, I just wanted to take a moment to drop you a note to let you know about upcoming events on my page! I sure miss talking to you and seeing you online!! You know I always have you in my fam and stop by your page. On (insert date) I am going to be trying for (name achievement) and am selling as many fam spots as I can to get the credits I need for bling and ability resets.
