O` if I had the wisdom of Soloman? The strength of Samuel?
The love of David in song? The humbleness and patience of Job?
The love of Ruth? The faith of Jeremiah? The courage of Gideon?
The vocabulary of Paul? The meekness of Moses? The righteousness
of Noah? The love of Jacob for Rachel? The forgiveness of Joseph?
With deep humbleness, sincerity, I seek to imitate these. I long
for the love, from the woman in my dreams. Waters have flown over my
head, because of the breakdown of our love. At night, despair
causes my tears to descend just as a torrent. My palms, are held
out. In sack cloth and ashes, I bow low to the earth. My affliction
and desolation have surrounded me, my mouth is in the dust of the earth.
My eyes are pining away for salvation, there is none forthcoming.
