The US military blowing things up in some other part of the world is not my doing, does nothing for me, in no manner "protects me" and merely robs money from me in the form of taxation on behalf of corporate welfare.
I am sorry that this "system" requires your family to join the military and kill people so you can eat. I'd rather my tax dollars go to feeding, housing and providing medical services to the population and the choice of war instead attests to the utter failure of such "system" ... not something to be celebrated.
So I do not "support the troops".
