Or maybe I've realised this a long time ago but it's just hit me today more than usual.

How goddamn lucky I have it.

That there are REALLY bad people in the world.

That there are people ho have suffered something I can't even begin to imagine, that there are people still suffering and that there will always be people suffering.

That there some TRULY ignorant, stupid, idiotic people in the world...people that are too far gone to be realise their stupidity and their bigotry.

That there are people who just disgust me beyond belief.

Today I've really have just realised what a complete and utter idiot that I myself can be.

I don't know if I'm just caught up in the moment or what, but all these things are true and it's time I finnaly acknowledged it.

I can't empathise with people who have suffered.

I can't really offer comforting words no matter how hard I try, so whenever someone tells me something...I don't know what to say but it doesn't mean I don't care, but everytime I say something I always get the voice in my head that says 'who the hell are you to say that to them?'.

I've not suffered.

Not had anyone close to me die, yet. I don't wish for that to happen but I know to expect it someday.

I don't really know what the point of this is.

I don't want you to tell me I'm not an idiot because sometimes I am.

I don't think I really need you to tell me anything, just for you to know that it's not that I don't care I just don't know what to do about it.

And lastly to thank you all, my eyes have been opened either directly from you people or from what you've told me.

It's not something I've enjoyed but it was about time it happened, I can't stay in that bubble forever because it really is just a lie fabricated by my family and the people that surround me.

So today I was trying to cut something open, and I held the scissors in some retarded position with the blades pointing down and cutting towards myself.

I kinda slipped and basically stabbed myself in the tummy and tore my Hellokitty jammies.

But it's ok...I have 2 other sets! :)

It's official.

I went from happy go-lucky and relatively normal to a big ol' bag of crazy.

Must be another transition into 'womanhood'.

I really think I need to work on my sense of entitlement. :o

So the mum about being a mama's girl kinda inspired me to write this blog.

You know how most people pretty much love their parents unconditionally no matter what.

Well I guess that's what I have but I am in no way close to my parents at all. I honestly can't remember the last time I hugged either of them or told them I loved them if I had ever even done that. I mean it's given that I DO love them of course, but expressing it is something that I've pretty much never done.

I mean when I was younger I used to sleep in the same bed as my parents and I would always run up to my dad for a hug and if not I was pretty much stuck next to my mother all the time.

But then when I moved to England (I was 6) my parents were fully seperated then and I lived with my mum and saw my dad once a week. I guess then I was still kinda stuck to my mother, I didn't sleep in my own bed till I was about 9 or 10 I think. But anyways I saw my dad once a week still but as I got older and became more fluent in English my Chinese never progressed anymore because I wasn't taught it anymore. As I grew up it became harder for me to talk to my dad, even now I have to get my step-mother to translate. So me and my dad aren't really 'close'. It makes me sad but it's just how it is. I think he tries to make up for it by giving me 'things'. Sometimes I think he thinks that's all he can do for me as a father and he always looks hurt when I tell him I didn't need it. He tells me all the time of when I was little at how excited I got to see him but not I rarely see him ever, once a month maybe or less.

And my mum...meh. I've lived with her all my life but I'm not close to her either. I think I used to be, but somewhere through middle school I think I felt like she pushed me away. (I'd had a step-dad by then) and whenever I used to tell her things or ask her about stuff or whatever she used to just find me annoying so I just did that less and less.

At the moment I only talk to her if I have to, she'd always ask me to go shopping and things and I would always say no...unless I REALLY needed to. Although the other day I did go with her and I really did enjoy it...but that was only because I had to go into the city anyway with her to get my car serviced. Although it hasn't changed things at home, I still avoid talking to her. I'm honestly not interested in anything she tells me or I just can't be bothered to hear it. And my dad...well he lives elsewhere with his family and he has a step-daughter that actually understands him now anyway, besides when I'm on my own with my dad it's awkward because we have nothing to say to each other or I don't get what he tells me and vice versa.

So it's not like I don't love my parents...I just don't want to spend time with them...ever.

I regret giving up learning languages because I was bored.

I regret losing much my mother tongue.

I regret dropping out of my first college because I was 'bored'.

I regret knowing some of the people that I know.

I regret not being close with either of my parents or my brother.

I regret always being stuck in the 'little sister'/friend section when it comes to relationship with males.

I regret always feeling like a 'little sister'/friend to most males.

I regret pushing away those males who are interested in me.

I regret forcing those same males to treat me as a 'little sister'/friend.

I regret not being able to approach the ones that I do like.

I regret allowing other people to dictate who is suitable for me to like and who isn't.

I regret forgetting to charge my toothbrush before I use it.

I regret so many things in the past that is so hard/impossible to change for the future.

It's come to my attention that I appear stuck up...

2 different people have mentioned this to me so it can't just be the one person that thinks it because they don't like me.

I admit I like nice things and are used to a certain way of life...but stuck up?

I thought there was a difference between having standards and being stuck up.

Well...am I?
