What are you waiting for?

And another?

I shall dedicate this poem to Jasmine. No more needs to be said.

"If only you could see what I see."

These eyes are both nothing and everything to me.
Showing me magnificent sights and unholy illusions.
To be able to see another person's eyes to their soul;
If only you could see what I see.

Infinite defined, its proximity determined;
I can grasp its integrity, its dimensions.
Seeing the front and back of each number,
If only you could see what I see.

Each atom, each quark, detailed as a painting;
Showing me its individual power and combination of strength.
And what beholds inside of it,
If only you could see what I see.

Each note, each beat, music in simplicity;
Combined together in a thousand chords of beauty.
Graced by a simple swing of an arm,
If only you could see what I see.

The sudden silence as a second of determination appears;
Where your true reflection is shown in the water.
Jumping gently into the pool to grasp its touch,
If only you could see what I see.

A billion stars all within your grasp;
Each giving its own unique glow.
Slowly burning its love out,
If only you could see what I see.

A pure cold blackness, pierced only by screams;
Of anger and torment and greed.
With the hand you're reaching for slipping away,
If only you could see what I see.

A family in a photograph, fading one by one;
Until the last person remains.
Leaving him alone for eternity,
If only you could see what I see.

A soul trapped forever, hidden behind the page;
Unwritten in the storybooks, lost without a name.
And yet to see his gentle greatness flow without a word,
If only you could see what I see.

A happy ending, a joyous dream;
Without meaning but with a glorious finish.
To wake up knowing the next adventure begins,
If only you could see what I see.

What's my gimmick?

An aura that steals the heart of men,
A grin that pleasures the eye;
The unique thinking within your mind,
Making us smile as each day goes by.

Eyes of diamonds, far beyond treasured,
A soul of silver, and a heart of gold.
The El Dorado is within this divine, sweet girl,
A legend to be passed down, to the days of old.

Hair of fine silk, smooth to the touch,
Glowing so gently, against the wind...
It beholds a scent, like none other,
A hint of it could return love, once again.

So you ask for your gimmick, that guarantees success,
Why you just may never fail.
It is you, everything, perfection emanated,
How your beautiful mind will be a legendary tale.

Isn't he nice and flattering. :P

The following is an original poem written here and now by yours truly, Daddy Rocks Hard.... If I had a time machine I'd tell you what I'd do I'd go back and be reborn again so I could live right next to you. I'd be your friend from childhood on and we'd laugh without a care We'd know each other inside out & have so much we could share I think it's like a fairytale, or something in a dream I know that time machines aren't real but I'll let my imagination scheme If I had a time machine I'd probably break it fast Who knows the trouble I'd get in just playing around in the past So with this all being said I'll tell you a secret you must hold tight Getting to know you is a pleasure my dear, now have a wonderful night. The End.
Once upon a time, in a mystical land full of faeries and magic, there lived a kind and intelligent princess named Jasmine. She was the most beautiful of all the king's daughters, bringing in people from far and wide to marvel at her beauty, be inspired by her thoughtful speeches, and be humbled by her caring generosity. She was so well-renowned for being the epitome of all things princessy, that the faerie conclave sent an ambassadress to her in order to grant her any wish her heart desired. She wished, with all her heart, for a magical pony..one whom she could talk to and would be her bestest friend in the whole wide world. The fairy laughed at such a wish, the childish innocence of it, but waved her wand and granted it. Jasmine was very happy, being the only person in the world with a talking pony...her bestest friend. They lived many many years together, frolicking in the fields, blessing the peasants, and doing their princessly duties (for Jasmine was never one to shirk her responsibilities, no matter her desires). And then, one day, she was betrothed to marry a man she had never met..indeed a Prince she had never even heard of. She was devastated. How she was supposed to marry a man she had never even heard of was beyond her..so she saddled up her pony and ran away from home. Unfortunately, she had never been far from the palace, and soon got lost..wandering into the forbidden forest of shadows. It was dark and scary inside the forest, and there were sounds Jasmine had never heard of, sending shivers of fright down her very soul. She wandered for hours, frightened and alone, fearful she would never find her way back home...until she ran into a hideous witch. The witch was jealous of her beauty, her intelligence, and most of all her pure heart, and quickly captured Jasmine, locking her up and intending to eat her in order to gain the things she was jealous of by black magic. Poor jasmine wept and wept, reaching her hand through her golden cage to pat her pony, seeking comfort from her bestest friend, even while knowing she was doomed. Just when Jasmine was about to give up all hope, a beautiful man rode in on a giant white warhorse, stabbing the witch and freeing Jasmine from her restraints. He was the most beautiful man she had ever laid eyes upon, and her heart knew that he was just as pure in spirit as she was. Instantly she fell in love, falling into his deep blue eyes as he leaned in to kiss her, knowing that she wanted to be with him for the rest of her life without even speaking to him. Once the kiss was broken, and Jasmine got her breath back, she asked him who he was and how he knew she was there. He told her that he was the prince she was supposed to marry, and he was frightened for her safety when he heard she had run away. He tracked her for days, finally following her into the forbidden forest, vowing to rescue her. Together they rode out of the forest, returned to her palace, and lived happily ever after.
