Sarah Michelle Gellar Shares Wedding Photo in Honor of 13th Anniversary With Freddie Prinze Jr.
Amid the number of high-profile Hollywood splits, Sarah Michelle Gellar andFreddie Prinze Jr. are here to remind us that love does exist.
The longtime couple are celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary today, and in honor of the milestone moment, the 38-year-old erstwhile Buffy star took to Instagram to post a throwback pic from the pair's 2002 nuptials.
"13 years #happyanniversary I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me," the actress captioned the adorable pic.
Gellar and Prinze met while they were filming the 1997 teen horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer. The lovebirds began dating in 2000 and tied the knot in Mexico two years later. They have two children together, daughter Charlotte (who just started kindergarten) and son Rocky.
The Cruel Intentions stunner recently caught up with E! News at an event for her new Crazy 8 kids' fashion line, where she said that she and Freddie "split everything pretty fairly" when it comes to parenting duties.
"I mean, I think that that's how you have to raise children today, as you want them to be independent and want them to see in our society that there is no difference between men and women and go from there," she said.
Gellar also gushed over her hubby during his birthday celebration earlier this year.
"Thank you for showing me dreams are possible and being the best partner a girl could ever have," she sweetly captioned a photo on Instagram.
