When Day Is Done
When day is done and the night slips down, and I've turned my back on the busy town, and come once more to the welcome gate where the roses nod and the children wait. I tell myself as I see them smile that life is good and its tasks worth while. When day is done and I've come once more to my quiet street and the friendly door, where the mother reigns and the children play and the kettle sings in the old-time way, I throw my coat on a near by chair and say farewell to my pack of cares. When day is done all the hurt and strife and the selfishness and the greed of life are left behind in the busy town, I've ceased to worry about renown or gold or fame and I'm just a mom content to b with her girl and her hum.

When I Become Famous
This for my friends, my fans and people who like reading what I have to offer. One of these days it will all come together for me and I'll enjoy the fruits of my efforts and labors. I'll need a huge mansion so I can have all my real good friends over for a pool party. I'll have a shark tank too, so if you think you're gonna crash my party - think twice. Whenlife Calls You
It is amazing when life calls on us to fufill the missing pieces to another human being(s) existence. Such endevours, should we choose to accept them, require us to be selfless, brave, giving, compassionate and even test us to see if our morals are in place. Rather than run from such tests.. I embrace them. For surely they are the workings of some higher power.. to see what kind of human being we really are. Do we practice what we preach? Do we truly give of ourselves without reservation or hesitation? Do we uphold and teach unto others the morals and virtues that we would want bestowed upon us? I also find it intriguing that you never really know who will be the one that is in need of your assistance.. until you are already in their life. Sometimes sorry doesn't work, just wasted words. The pain of actions, of words uttered that shouldn't of been. Removing people from you life like your erasing a mistake. When Will She Stop?
so, my sister is going downhill fast. i dont know what to do...well, theres nothing i can do. after my mom died she kept using my moms bank card for random crap. she even withdrew over 500 dollars to spend on who knows what. in total on just my moms cards shes spent over 1300 dollars. my dad just got his bank card statement. one time about a month ago he gave her his card number so she could order pizza. his statement comes out with over 20 orders of pizza, sometimes totaling over 54 dollars worth of pizza [so we know shes not just feeding herself], best buy charges, cd warehouse company charges, and random clothing store charges. in total almost 2000 dollars she spent using my dads card when he told her she could get pizza once. today my dad calls me up and tells me he just received a package sent to my sister from best buy with over 300 dollars worth of psp games. the best part...she tried to blame it on me. first off, i dont have a psp..second if i was going to use my dads car

When you are completely confused about someone that you love dont try to take the relationship farther then it already is. Maybe even step back a step or two. When Does Enough Become Enough ( Relatinoship Rant Fair Warning)
After 10 years Im sad to say I think it's time to move on. Most anyone who reads this knows a little about my situation. For those who jsut happen to be curious & clicked on this blog I will give you a short over view. I have been with my husband for 10 years. We did not get together in the best of circumstances reguardless I love this man to pieces. However he is so emotionally & affectionately closed off I cannot relate to him anymore. A big part of this is from past experiences & being afraid to be vulnerable which I almost understand. I have tried everything to make him understand he is worth something ... not just to his kids but to me. In 10 years I still have gotten nowhere with it. I changed 75% of who I am to try to make him at least content thinking if I was more like the person he insisted I should be then he would be happier and in turn treat me a little better. This is my first blog and I thought I'd break from tradition here and write about something other some contest or any of the usual Fubar stuff. As a native New Yorker, we sometimes take attractions within this City for granted. And we tend to hear about them but never participate because it is always there for us to explorer later, except later never comes. A few weeks ago a friend of mine decide to take her daughter and husband to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall and she decide to include the gang (for those who don't know me, it's my small group of friends that almost always hangout together) in this outing. Well last night Nov 9th, 2007, was the night of our outing and I must say it was spectacular and I recommend it to anyone traveling to NYC during the Christmas season. Driving home tonight, I entered the Garden State Parkway. I looked down and my friend Julie was calling me. I am in this special group of people who have a design for living. She happens to be extremely instumental in my sobriety. So when I saw she was calling at 6:19PM on a Monday night, I had a feeling something was not right. Julie got on the phone and explained to me that my friend, Barbara passed away today at 5:20PM. Barbara was a 50 year old woman who had come so far in her recovery in life. She faced adversity. Her daughter was a Handicapped Adult that she helped take care of in a private group home. Barbara had been diagnosed with Cancer this March. It was in her liver. Recently they had found that she had it in her Brain. When she passed this evening she passed peacefully. The Lord took her home. I spent the last few hours meeting with my Women. Very early this morning, my grandmother passed. Truthfully, I did not think it would affect me so much. I was really just worried about my mom, since this was her step-mother. As I have told so many of my close friends, the term "step" when it comes to those in my family, does not hold much accuracy, as most of the "steps" in my family have been "steps" for so long they have become non-steps, in the natural terms. Just like the "half" siblings I have, they are not half, or step, but whole. As I wished myself in to forgetting my memories, they came back. I didn't get sad. I became nauseatited. My "step" grandmother has been my grandmother for many years. Just like my "step" grandfather, as it is with my "step" mother, these people have been a part of my life for so long that there is no politically correct terminology that can leave them anything other than a member of my beloved family. I have learned in life that when you mess up and deny it it only will make things worse when the situation arises that you are forced to admit your mistake. Just come forth from the moment the messup or mistack happens and admit it. Tell the person that you know that you are wrong you say that you are wrong and that all you can do is apologize and be sure to try not to repeat your mistack again. When It Rains It Pours
The last few days have been a sheer nightmare. My oldest daughter has been in and out of the hospital with a illness the doctors both cant deny and cant really place a name too. Although she slept peacefully last which I believe gave everyone the false impression things where turning around. Like they say, "when it rains, it pours". First I just found out today that my spine surgen will be doing eploritory surgery on my lower spine, right where he did the previous work. The fusion part of my surgery is deterating, and I am running the risk of the screws and pins snapping in there from the weight of my body. This will be takeing place in about a month or so. he will go in my back asess the damage and then fix it right there. Which means cleaning out the fusion that is left and redoing it with a bone graft from my hip, and possibly new screws and pins. Second today I found out that my Insurance was cancled because my employer is nolonger useing IBA HealthPlans. So they have to reissue me new cards and benifits with the new carrier as well as regester me with the new carrier. I have to pay full price for a new med. I am starting on today, which is going to cost me over $130. Thirdly, I recieved a letter in the mail from SSD stating that I was denied. So the ball is now

No subject creates such emotion than in the debate between Pro life and pro choice groups or in the field of abortion and human stem cell research, this is why I wish to explore the question.
