I got back from lunch a couple minutes ago... always end up having late lunches but this one turned into a meeting. I am having surgery on the 19th of this month. They are going to fix my hernia and do an abdominal plasty at the same time. Also i have to have a mamogram they have found lumps in my chest. I Moved... Again!
Well, today officially marks my end with Frank. All of my stuff, excluding large things to go into storage, are out of the house. Thank God. He was acting like a jerk. He called my job, asked if I was there, and then proceeded to tell one of my co-workers that if I was left alone in the house, I would punch holes in walls and destroy his belongings. The next night, he came over to my job and told staff and students that they could do "whatever they wanted" to me, and he wouldn't care. He was talking shit about me hardcore, so I reported him to management... let's see what happens. Today, I went to get the last of my stuff. He was pretty nice to me, like 180 nice. I don't trust it. I think he's got something up his sleeve, but I'll always be smarter than him and he has no idea who he's messing with. Other than that, things are cool. I'm single, relaxed, and FREE!

My older brother Dusty was in a car wreck that left him brain damaged 4 years ago. He was not only my brother, but my best friend. He would call me on his lunch break jus to tell me hi. People may wonder why I'm still having a hard time dealing with this is because he was the type of person that pain never fased him. Once he about cut off his finger, and he didnt even flinch when it happened. Its just hard to think that he's not bouncing back. We were told he was going to be a vegetable, but he proved them wrong on that. He can't walk or talk, but he sure brings a smile to my face. I'm Here
Well, The pain hasn't been horrible, but I've really bee uncomfortable lately. I need to keep moving. I've found lately that if I keep moving, or tire out my muscles, I have the best results. I'm 3 weeks away from my shots, so we'll see. I have heard rumblings that the first visit is just a consultation. If that is all that it is, I am going to cancel that, and ask my Dr. if I can skip that step, and go right to surgery, so that it is fixed once and for all for good. I've heard 50/50 on the shots, and think that it is mostly a waste of time. I just agreed to it, because I wanted to get to mid October, so that I can get laid off for work, and get it taken care of. I have been stretching more, and walking, which has improved it some, so here's hoping I get something done soon.

New Browser From Google Just Released
If anyone is interested google released a new browser called Google Chrome. We have been testing it all day and it works great, allows you to import your settings from other browsers, is very lightweight. By lightweight I mean it uses very little ram. In comparison with firefox it uses only around 50MB of Ram compared with firefox using hundreds of Megabytes of Ram. Shelving Community

A Wedding Tale
DJ Elephantcock and Boy 13 played their first wedding this weekend. That is not our real names obviously, but for the purpose of this story, I am Boy 13. I was excited to do this for many reasons. Today was a sad day Northwest Washington... 6 people were killed , 2 people wounded.. By a guy that went on a high speed chase/shooting spree.. A sheriff deputy was killed and a State Trooper injured.. I was heading home and was pasted by 2 State Patrol cars & a ambulance that were in route to the hospital with the wounded WSP officer... The guy later turned himself into police in Mount Vernon.. I listened to a lot of it unfold on my car radio on the way home,I am still shocked!!! They are now saying this guy had a history of mental illness & was on some kind of watch ...I have refered to this person as a "guy" because he sure as hell is not a man in my book...I felt pretty guilty saying that he should have just shoot himself 1st & saved this whole mess!!!! 2 of the dead were just construction workers building a house had nothing to do with anything!!!!!!!! I pray for the families of the those who lost loved ones...

OK so, today I get a call from my mom right as get home to tell me that my dad has yet again landed back in the hospital. Frank(r.i.p 2000 - Sept 2, 2008) Due To His Kidneys
I went to my mother's place to pick up Frank and took him to the vet. He was weak and he stopped eating but he was drinking a lot. From what the vet told me and my mother, he was very dehydrated and most likely his kidney's were in the process of crashing. He was going to get blood work plus they were going to try to hydrate him. I got a call later that my mother decided to put him under. It was her decision. He's at a better place and I will miss him...This is just an epitaph for him.

I Miss Them Alot
This time of year is very hard for me. My dad's birthday was August 20th. He would have been 79. On October 5th it will be the 11th anniversary of his death. On November 29th my mom would have turned 69. December 21st was my parents wedding anniversary. It is also the 5th anniversary of my mom's death. How interesting that she died on their anniversary. Also in December is my mother in law's birthday and the 7th anniversary of her death. I try to focus on the positives but it still hard sometimes to celebrate holidays without them.

Some Clarification Is Needed

A week ago Monday I made the decision to move to F'ville, NC to be with my boyfriend which is in the military. Ok, I don't normally do these kind of things, but I feel that I have a moral obligation to point out the obvious fact that journalism as an objective medium for information is completely and totally dead. Take what we've been seeing in the "mainstream" media lately. I went grocery shopping recently while not being altogether sure that course of action was a wise one. You see, the previous evening I had prepared and consumed a massive quantity of my patented 'You're definitely going to $h!t yourself' chili. ok for all that read my last blog I am giving an update here and now I went to pre-op appt today 9-2-08 found out I had cancer last month was to have sugery last month but had to change it cause one of the dr's couldnt be there on the date so I will now have it on 9-12-08 that will be in just a week and half from now 10 days woohoo anyways I m having a full Hysterectomy and might not have to have chemo or what not but I will not know that till the sugery I am asking any one that has gone thur this for any help that they might can give me yes I am scared but I know that right now this is the best thing for me thank you for any help you might be able to give

This morning dad went to some sort of surgery. It took a few hours. I killed time reading my book outside of the hospital. They finally called me in saying the surgery was done. It was kind of odd seeing him laying there with tubes all all around him. Made me think about the times I've seen my cousin Heidie in the hospital in the past. The doc explained to me what happened and what to look out for. Dad did fine, other than being real light headed, nauseous and pale looking. He's scheduled for a X-ray next week. I'm a huge documentary fan from way back. Is it just me or does it seem like scientists are less intelligent than they used to be ? I have a decent IQ. Actually a superior IQ in a few categories. Alabama is rolling out a creative but controversial program that will subject its 37,527 state employees to possibly humiliating at-work weigh-ins and fat tests. If they tip the scales, they'll be given a choice: slim down or pay up. The state is trying to solve two of its biggest problems — health insurance costs and obesity — in one fell swoop. Beginning in 2010, Alabama, which has the second highest obesity rate in the country, will start charging all of its employees an extra $25 per month for health insurance. (Currently, single workers pay nothing; family plans cost $180 a month.) But there's a way to avoid the fee: Get a check-up at an in-office "wellness center," where nurses will check for diabetes and hypertension and measure blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose levels and Body Mass Index (BMI).

1st Day Of Kindergarten
Good morning well john bugs started kindergarten today. so i took a few days off to see off his first few days to school. well it started off well he got up w/o a hitch. he got dressed w/o a hitch. then he cried because he was scared to go to school. so we all got in the got in the car and got to school and he walked to the class fine. we went to class and we convinced him to sit on the mat where is name was. Jordyn's First Day
I woke up this morning to a shake and a poke from an innocent 5 yr old anxiously awaiting her first day of Kindergarten. We have spent the last year counting down the days on the calendar when this day would come. I was filled with anxiousness and excitement for her up until this afternoon. As her name was called and she went to her teacher and got her name tag and everything she needed for her desk, I felt proud and overwhelmingly sad at the same time. Where the HELL did time go???
