On Rats and Stealing I remember the day the man I called Dad taught me to steal. It was just like any other day in Camp Sea Ashe. My brother Randy and I had been down to the green (a green is the term used to describe a large expanse of grass in Europe) playing soccer with some of the local British lads. Ok yall tell me if this isn't fucked up or wrong.. By law I'm allowed to visit the UK for 6 months on a visa waver, so I desided to go there September 6th. Wow you know I knew most times I can keep my emotions in check or I'm not very emotional. Just came to be today that I've ignored a big part of me and that is my emotions. Typically I won't care about a lot of things but with today's manifesting day the emotions around me have doubled in how I feel. Some background - at work I am a parts driver for a big car dealer (Honda, Volvo, Infiniti), delivering parts to their wholesale accounts (other shops). Last Tue at work, the mexican over at Honda had a frame rail laying across some hoods and panels. I needed to get to a couple of those panels, so asked Julio to move the frame rail. Well I started my new job last Thursday I am so happy about it !!! It is a company I worked before before , and I am glad to be back with them.. Be forwarned, this is long. I am the mother of an autistic son, Luke. When Luke was very young I always felt blessed because my baby was so well behaved...he almost never cried, he played quietly, and was never any problem at all. The terrible two's came and I, once again, felt blessed because there really wasn't anything terrible about them. It was at this time, though, that I began to notice differences in Luke. He was not progressing as he should. There had to have been some sort of denial prior to me noticing these differences...because I know that he was banging his head and rocking violently from at least 11 months or so. Anyway, Luke’s grandfather approached me one day very cautiously...I think he knew how defensive parents can be about their children.
