the flowers glisten
like fiery jewels
the ruby,
the sapphire,
the amethyst too
stretch their tiny heads
to catch the abundance
of natures reservoir aloft
rays of yellow-gold
and shafts of warmth bestow
the delicate droplets
of natures purest ilk
from petals silky smooth
gently glide
a fresh flawless essence
permeates the dawn
splendor of rainbows
treasure chests laden
gleaming amid
the brilliant cascade
of the early morning-tide
with the quietest of murmurs
concealed from mortal ear
a majestic vault
the flawless pearl achieves
off the edge
of dew dampened petal
to descend
ancient paths of yester-year
the garden gems awaken
to the contented repose
of the cooing morning dove
bathed in serenitys calm peaceful pool
the billowing clouds floating on
faraway and high above
