You would think nothing in the world like that would happen.. Well for those who do not know I was at the pool friday with lindsay and the kids... As I was taking my shoes and socks off i noticed autumn was face down in pool..as a natural reaction I jumped in the pool to get her.. At that time i did not care or think that is was one foot.. well i jump in and landed on my knees and rammed the bottom of my feet near my toes.. i just thought it was stunned.. i was able to get up and walk back to the edge.. By this time butter (my three yr old) was ok. I sat on the edge and let them play because butter was ok and we went to have fun, i didnt want to be the party pooper. well when it ws time to get up i couldnt.. my right foot i could not bare any weight on it.. my left one hurt but it ls moveable.. lindsay took my kids and was going to bring my car back to get me.. but the life guards thought it was best to call in an ambulance.. so i went down to virtua and after a few xrays they said it was broken.. i was shocked because i couldnt bare weight on it.. but it also a good thing... it is badly bruised.. they gave me crutches and a post op shoe and sent me on my merry way.You would not think just going to the pool would do harm.. i am just glade butter was ok because she is my baby. when i got home i just cuddled her and told her mommy was ok because she looked concerned..
I am thankfull she is ok and also thankful for my friends that are willing to help me out. they know who they are and they are really amazing..
Cherish everymoment you got with your kids because you never know what could happen in a blink of an eye..
