What are you waiting for?

Welcome to this week's edition of Bethea's Byte. I hope you all have enjoyed Cyber Sunday and Halloween. Now we are in one of my favorite months of the year. It will be all about giving thanks, enjoying family and SURVIVAL! In under two weeks, WWE's twenty-first annual Survivor Series will take place. Shawn Michaels will challenge Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. More details as they become available. As far as this week's Byte is concerned, I will, as always, recap the week in WWE, salute the guys who hit the mark at Cyber Sunday and let out some steam in What Bugs Me. I will give you the heads up on what's to come in W2W4 (What to Watch For). Let's get this candle lit! WWE MATCH RESULTS Kelly Kelly def. The Great Khali & Mark Henry via DQ SALUTE--Cyber Sunday's Best I have enjoyed this year's Cyber Sunday PPV. But the main event of the evening was truly THE MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING! Sure, the marquee said "WWE Cyber Sunday," but what I saw was "WWE WrestleMania." I send my first solo shoutout to the former World Heavyweight Champion, Undertaker for one of his best performances in a losing cause. Even had he won this match, I don't think he could have done a better job. My second solo shoutout goes to the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, Batista for his grit and determination to beat the Deadman and retain the World Heavyweight Championship. I have always said that the referees are always at the wrong place at the wrong time. For once I was proven wrong. The WWE fans voted Stone Cold Steve Austin as the Special Referee for "Undertaker-Batista IV" and the Texas Rattlesnake did not disappoint. My third shoutout goes to Stone Cold for being the referee that most refs should model after. Let the boys go, enforce the rules when needed and count deliberately. He did just that. Great job as the ref, Stone Cold. For the match itself, I give a collective shoutout to all three because as I have stated before, the marquee may have said "Cyber Sunday," but these guys made it look like "WrestleMania." Great job to all three of you individually and collectively! I would be remissed if I didn't give my final shoutout to the people that help made this match so good. To the 13,000,000 WWE fans who cast their votes not only on this match, but the entire event as a whole. Cyber Sunday is nothing without the fans. So, to Undertaker, Batista, Stone Cold Steve Austin and the WWE Fan Nation, I salute you all! WHAT BUGS ME?--Open Randomness I don't have anything to pinpoint this week so I'm just gonna hit a few things off the top of my head. Don't be surprised if it's not WWE related. Basically, just call this week's What Bugs Me is a look "Inside Bethea's Head" - After Cyber Sunday, is it just me or can you feel "Undertaker-Batista V" looming on the horizon? - Everytime I turn to WWE.com, someone has just received his/her walking papers. This time, it's Brooke Adams (Extreme Expose). Who's next? - Jamie Noble, if you want to stay healthy, shut up and leave Vickie Guerrero alone. That's it!! - I have heard rumors of Hulk Hogan having some capacity with TNA and signing with NBC to host American Gladiators. Hulkster, "What'cha Gonna Do, Brother?!" - Fair warning to Mr. McMahon regarding Monday Night: DX + Stone Cold = Double your chances of being embarrassed! - Kurt Angle, is there anything you WON'T do to remain TNA World Champion? - "Showtime" Eric Young. One of these days, he's gonna outsmart the pyro...maybe. - Team 3D needs to work their way back to the top of the TNA Tag Team ladder instead of bullying the X Division. - Speaking of the X Division, Black Machismo is doing that division proud! W2W4 (What to Watch For) On TV It's ONE NIGHT ONLY when Stone Cold Steve Austin and D-Generation X make their respective appearances. In their crosshairs: WWE Champion Randy Orton, Umaga and Santino Marella. Will Mr. McMahon stick his two cents in? If so, is embarrassment too far behind? Beth Phoenix has a literal and lethal strangle hold on the Women's Championship. Are any of the other Divas safe from the Glamazon? Can John Morrison return the Land of Extreme back to strange days by regaining the ECW Championship? Is this the end of the Straightedge reign of CM Punk? Big Daddy V is the big man on ECW's campus. Mark Henry defeated him, Kane and The Great Khali in the Monster Mash Battle Royal. Is this the formula to stopping Big Daddy? Bring in another monster? Undertaker. Batista. Those two names are etched together for four great matches around the World Heavyweight Champion. Both men have one win, one loss and two draws against each other. Can Undertaker-Batista V be ahead? Both men will have to battle together against The Silverback, Mark Henry and The Punjabi Nightmare, The Great Khali. Can The Phenom and The Animal be a cohesive unit? On WWE.com Find out when Matt Hardy will be cleared to step back in the ring again. What happened when Elijah Burke appeared on "Ghost Hunters"? Get your WrestleMania Ticket info. What do the tattoos of these superstars really mean?: - Rey Mysterio - Balls Mahoney - ECW Champion CM Punk - Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy - WWE Champion Randy Orton - Mr. Kennedy - Shannon Moore - Santino Marella Check out these videos: - John Cena's road to recovery - Batista's book signing in New Jersey - Rey Mysterio's DVD signing in Washington, DC That is a wrap for this week. I will have more Survivor Series info when I get it as well as my predictions that will go with it! Until Next time... BYTE THIS!!!
