To be frightened
And no comfort is there
Uncertainty about life
Calling my hand too soon
To lay my life
In a strangers hand
Fear abounds
To open myself
For whatever lies beneath
Will there be a tomorrow?
To surely lose
Part of me
Hopes of a new beginning
But if I should lose
All of me
If tomorrow never comes
I'll feel i have left
A part of me
To carry on a dream
Ashes may float away
In an April shower
My will still lives on
The unknown scares me still
For there's still much I want to do
Experience so much
Teach what I can
Love I need to give
Pains I need to take
But if my time runs out
There's just one thing I want to say
Remember me with a smile
And I'll be smiling back
