Dark shadow
I've walked your path
Hunted your treasure
But found no love
What do you have to offer . . .
Dark shadow
I drew my knife
As if it were your sweet psyche
But found nothing upon your promise
What do you have to offer . . .
Dark Shadow
I looked upon you
And I lost my life
But find a light;
I did not
What do you have to offer . . .
Death
Sweet death
I searched through your darkness
As well as my own
I fell upon nothing
Finding only my bones
You promised me peace
But instead I found
My heart lies upon your tree
What did you have to offer
Was I just another victim
Another willing suicide
What was your offer
What was the deal
I rose my blade
But now I want my life back
Death
Sweet death
You render me unloved
You stole my heart dark shadow
But offered me
Nothing...
