THESE ARE ABOUT FINDING A FRIEND WHO IS
ALREADY ON FUBAR & HAS GIVEN YOU SOME INFO
AHEAD OF TIME AS DESCRIBED BELOW.
There are 4 ways I know will work, and another
which I think will also.
The first 2 require you to be signed into fubar
and on your "home" page so you can do a "search".?
The 3rd requires putting in a URL in Internet
Explorer ( and perhaps having fubar account
but not signed in ? ). May not work?
1. At home page, click on "search" in upper
right about 1 1/2 inches from right, and
then click on "Name", and then enter
fubar id, mine is hitching_post, & say search.
2. At home page, similarly except click on
"email" instead of Name, and enter
....@yahoo.com, or whatever -- but here you
must know the person's regular email.
3. Enter following URL into Internet Explorer
address field and go there:
http://www.fubar.com/user/2586107 --
or whatever number your friend has told
you ahead of time that they are. If your
friend has ever done a "salute", then he/she
will have HAD to find out what this number is.
It is used by fubar to validate identities.
4. Look at one of the inquires I sent you --
fan, friendship request, admire guessing,
private messages, and get me that way
via looking at my picture and knowing it
is me.
5. After I have fanned you at fubar, my pic
is displayed under fans on your profile, so
by clicking on that, you can find me.
