The stupidity of mankind..... especially the pure .....n true....evil that lies with the hearts of men......I'm living fuggin' testament to dat......hmmm.....why the fug are there like 75-80% of all us vets total insomniacs???........because when we close our eyes n still our hearts.... we realize jus how fucked up we ALL are......n then we hear those voices from th grave....the ones that while inthe midst of the horror ....you really didn't give much thought to....ya' just reacted....the many postures and expressions a human corpse takes becomes as trivial n mundane as picking ones nose.....And it was in the loss of ALL innocence that we found ourselves....wondering the precise time that human life COMPLETELY lost its value to us........it HAD to lose all value.....this is what the MD's N PHD's say at least.....cause one would simply go insane if one had to snuff out the flickering sparkle of the soul that each n every one of us possesses....I'm so fucking glad that I made it back mostly physically whole.....not glad in that I made it n any of my buds didn't.....no,hell, no.....the only way I survived at all was I came t othe realization that I was a walker......I was already dead....for in that stark revelation came what we all want .....peace....pEace in the fact that it nwas only a matta' of time til you got a fatal round....N' courage(some say it was insanity) unlike anything I've eva' rxperienced cause NOBODY was gonna' die in my squad, on my patrol, n my humvee,.....corse they did....but it didn't stoip me from holding their heads in my shaking hands ....loooking directly into that "light of the soul" in the eyes and ramming whateva part of ur body would fit in the gaping hole this kid had in gut or where his legs used to be....trying to clamp off any arterial sprays....as you watch the light slowly fade from the windows of the soul;.............JEFF
