Jilly's blog: "This week"

Hi all I hope your Thanksgiving was a good and safe one! We had a great day! We ended up having it here at my house. I made turkey, stuffing, gravy, rolls, sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes, and my mom brought pecan, and pumpkin pie, and my brother brought steamed broccoli. We had a good time chatting and eating good food. My older brother and his wife came by and spent some time with everyone. It was nice to see them even for a little bit. They are going to be adopting a baby very, very soon! They are adopting a baby from a young mother who has a baby of 1 year old, and is pregnant again. The last time they talked she had gone to the hospital 3 times due to pain. She is having false labor pains and is dilated to a 2! So it could be any day!!!! She isn't due til Dec. 18th, but hopefully it will be sooner. I will keep you posted! I have gotten the boys in S.A.C. which is an after school care program, like daycare but through the school, until 6pm so that means that I can get a job outside of the home I hope!!! I am going to Walmart, and Homeland, and a few other places around here that are hiring. I also went to DHS to see if we qualified for food stamps and they can also help out with the after school care. Once I get a job then I will know if we qualify for DHS to pay for the daycare. Even if they cover some of the cost, that would be awesome! Right now we need all the help we can get, barely able to make it paycheck to paycheck! So that is what is going on right now......... Darryl headed out a little bit ago for Decatur, Al and then he is off to Iowa, then next weekend he is heading to New York, and on the way he is going to stop at his brother's in Pa to pick up his tools! So that is awesome, instead of us having to travel up there, by renting a car, and all that........... which would cost about $1000........ so that helps alot. His brother is moving in February and is going to sell his duplicate tools, so this is awesome that he can go up there now and get it. So I will keep you posted on everything. Hi all..... My Halloween night was awesome! Me and the kids went to my mom's house, and had homemade chili and then went trick or treating down her street. I don't trust/know everyone down my street, but I know pretty much every one down my mom's street. I went trick or treating down the street when I was a kid, and most of the same people are still there! So that was fun. We ended up walking the whole street which is about a half mile down and back, so a good workout!!! We met up with my younger brother, and my younger sister and hubby and her three kids. I got lots of pics of them all dressed up and cute! My sister was sick, and at work...... so my two boys and I , and my brother-in-law and his three kids, took off at about 6:45 or so and didn't get back til almost 8:15 or so.......... we had lots of fun though. Along with the awesome homemade chili and all the treats it was an awesome night! I can't wait til monday........... PAY DAY!!! I am sick of these little paychecks and the whole company at this point. I am needing to get a part time job to help with the bills and so we have money between each pay day! His paychecks are even lower then they were before, we can barely pay just the basics now. So a little stressed about the money and what we can pay and what we can't! It seems like we get behind on one thing and then before long we are behind on all the bills! Now with his school loan coming out, there is an extra $200.00 coming out each month.......... so it's just been a rough few months. I hope you all have a great rest of the week, take care, and Hugs

Hi all I am sorry that I haven't been around more.... been very busy this year with kid's schedules and all. I have finally gotten a little break, as this week is Fall Break....... after today they are out til next Monday. I have had to work on my car with hubby, when he was on vacation! That was loads of fun, NOT LOL! I will be getting on here as much as I can. My youngest son, Kyle is doing so well. He is now in a regular pre-k class, instead of a special ed class, so he is going half a day, so by the time I take him to school, get home, clean a little, I have to go pick him back up. I will find out today how well he is doing in class....... I have a Parent-Teacher Conference today at 2:10 for Kyle, then Andrew's is at 4:45....... I will let you know how they both are doing. Hi all, Tomorrow, Thursday, May 24th is the last day of school for my boys! Wow it has definitely flown by. I just can't believe that after tomorrow they will be out for the summer. I finally got some of my chores around here done, been a crazy week and it's not even over! I just found this really cool website for players on pogo.com who love it as much as i do, it's called Mypogospot.com! You need to check it out if you love to play on pogo.com, or just meet other players from pogo. It reminds me alot of myspace! Also I have an account with Classmates.com to find old high school friends and all, and I couldn't believe who signed my guestbook on there. My very first boyfriend from like middle school!!! I was totally shocked to hear from him, I haven't seen him since he graduated a yr before me. I was originally supposed to graduate a yr before i did, but I was held back in 4th grade. I went to half of the year 5th grade, and wasn't ready, so they sent me back to 4th! I was definitely pleasantly surprised by him signing it. It is a cool website as well! I just basically wanted to write about a few little things like that. I watched the season finale on Lost! WOW what a shocker! I was sad that Charlie died though. I also love watching 24, man that was an awesome season finale. Can't wait til next Jan! Well I guess I will write more later, I have to get to bed so I can get up early one more morning! YAY!
