On this day of Thanksgiving,
Let us pray for the dead and the living.
Thank God we are still alive and fit,
In this year, Two-Thousand-Six.
We were put here by God for some reason,
The same as our four seasons.
He put humans, animals and plants,
And on the Earth, worms and ants.
He gave us the strength to labor,
Our body and soul was given to us by Jesus our Savior.
He gave us a touch of love and feeling,
To each and every human being.
We are so thankful for what we work for,
All these things and more we can't ignore.
We Thank God for a good Thanksgiving Day,
We'll eat good food, after we pray.
Everyone is happy at what they are seeing,
As our elders explain 'Thanksgiving meaning'.
After the meal, they all begin to sing,
'Thank You God, for everything'.
On Earth give us good health,
Until the day of our death.
Thank You for life's reward,
'Thank You God, Thank You Lord'.
This year’s Thanksgiving Day season,
We will all pray for our own special reason.
We Thank our Military Fighting for Freedom, for you and me,
We Thank them for risking their lives overseas.
