There's always one friend,
That will stand by you,
Through the good times and the bad,
No matter what you do.
I've found that person,
That has helped me all the way,
When no one else seemed to care,
They never seemed to stray.
They were the only one who noticed,
When something was wrong,
Helped me through the hard times,
When each day seemed so long.
I appreciate their friendship,
More than they would know,
I just have to find a way,
A way to let it show.
Now I've written this poem,
I know just what I'll do,
I'll dedicate it to that special someone,
And that special someone is you!
I know it's only a poem,
But it's truly how I feel,
I don't know what I'd do without you,
I just wouldn't be able to deal.
