What are you waiting for?

How did the bulletin thing get to be so popular? Nobody ever posts anything relevant and they're just as bad as spam or chain messages. So far I think I've lost friends, will die in a few days, never find love, and rot in hell all because I didn't repost in 10 seconds or less. Ah the shame and tragedy of it all...... So here's something worth a minute or two of your time. Right now, there is a measure in congress to abolish the current tax law with all of its confusing rhetoric for a more feasible system. Yes, you did read correctly. However, given the amount of resistance to this system (due to the elimination of all loopholes) there is obviously a lot of resistance from large corporations and their corporate elites. Please visit this website (http://www.fairtax.org/) for more information on how you can help advance the cause. Even registering with the petition would dramatically help. Imagine the entire Lost Cherry community bonding together to effect a change in congress. That would definately make the news. So what exactly is this fair tax? In a nutshell, it abolishes the IRS and all tax codes to implement a straight 23% tax on all goods. That means that the tax you pay depends solely upon the goods you purchase, so a two million dollar home will cost $460000 in tax with no exceptions, loophole, or breaks. Now wonder there's so much opposition from overpaid CEOs. And, there's no income tax taken out of your wages, so you keep every single dollar you make. Say goodbye to all those tax forms and register at www.fairtax.org now...and don't forget to repost this.
