Someone has posted a bulletin complaining about shoutboxes and the lack of responses from shoutbacks, especially from women.

Not making excuses for everyone though... and, btw, I don't think we have chatted before (but that is besides the point)....when I chat through the chat boxes it is often for quick conversations.
LOL...
Sometimes, too, the shout boxes stick and that cannot be blamed on a soul (excepting maybe the powers that be)...
LOL...
On the other hand, because I am expecting short conversations on the shout boxes I often jump up and down from the computer desk area so that I don't get glued to the chair for-ever. They could have, too, done so.....
LOL...
And, sometimes we forget to put the stepping away message on while we go to grab a quick drink or snack... or go pee... or get sidetracked with other issues of life, such as answering phones, cleaning house, running errands, etc.

I wouldn't, therefore, take it personally. I never do. Sometimes I catch in on a conversation right away; sometimes I don't. However, if I don't leave a shout, they'll never know that I was thinking about them, will they??? ;)"
