Hello i am writing another blog for my pleasure cause most people dont read blogs but i dont care
I am finally getting a night out tomorrow and i am so excited. My mom in law is keeping the kid over night and me and the hubby are going out. We are going to dinner and then probably to the funny bone and then to adobe gilas for some fun. What is great is we wont have to worry bout what time to get in cause we wont have a kid to take care of that night. It has been awhile since me and hubby have had a date and we really need it. I hope that it is all that i am hoping it will be. After 13 years of being together he has a habit of making my heart melt, unless he is pissing me off lol. I love him with all my heart and there are times when i fall in love with him over and over again. I cant imagine life without my two favorite people, my daughter and my husband.
Being a mom has changed me a great deal. I never knew i could possibly love someone so much. She has made me such a better person for all that she has done for me and she has no idea all that she has done. I dont understand how a five year old can have that effect on me but she has. She has made me want to be the best i can be. She is a very smart young lady. by kindergarten she was already reading at a kindergarten level thanks to me and hooked on phonics. On her report card it says she is reading at a high kindergarten level. I am now working on hooked on phonics first grade and then will do second grade. By time she finishes kindergarten she will probably be reading at a second grade level. she is already sounding out words like: basketball, brothers, traffic, enter, ghost and so forth. when we are driving she will sound out words on signs and in reading she will be to. This weekend i am going to the library and checking out the lion the witch and the wardrobe and between me and her we are going to read the book so she will start enjoying the wonders of reading. i will also be checking her out some books that are on her level. I am pushing her to be the best she can be. you should see her face when she accomplishes another book and she will hug me and thank me for pushing her to learn. She loves it.
My hubby is another great guy, yeah we have our problems but who doesnt. mainly its what we having for dinner lol. He works really hard to provide a home for me and our daughter. He is a wonderful father who is constantly playing with his daughter. He has installed in her a no fear thing. They wrestle and chase each other and just have total fun. I play with her to but on a mommys way, im way to afraid to wrestle with her that i will hurt her. He is everything that i would want in a father and i am so happy that my daughter has a great father. they are so hard to come by. He absolutely loves being around her and just loves the fact she is so smart and is great on crediting me on what i have done for her. He has done alot to teach her but his work schedule doesnt call for him to do as much as i do to teach her so he goes and buys the material i need and provides support and rewards for her. I couldnt imagine being with anyone else he is so great. He has taught her a great deal about life and lessons in life trying to install in her the values she will need growing up. I enjoy watching them two together and listening to how he becomes a kid with her. I swear when those two are together they are both kids and i love it.
