Why does it seem like we have forgotten the meaning of christmas? Is christmas just about the gift giving? Isnt christmas more about giving and not getting? Isnt it about being with family and forgetting about the stresses of life? Its not about the gifts its about the ones you love. Some say it is just another day, yes it is but it is a special day. it is a day for being with family and sharing the joy. We shouldnt put so much pressure on ourselves and others on gifts. yes it is nice to have gifts but its better to be with family. The gifts are more for the kids and seeing their faces but you dont have to spend a fortune on kids either you can get them a few things and they will be happy. If you are religious then it is about the day Christ was born. We are celebrating his birthday, his love for us. If you are not religious than its about being together. Remember there are kids and families who have even less than we do and are in a far worse situation than we are.
