Last night my kindergarten daughter, just finished her last book in first grade hooked on phonics. She is reading at a first grade level now and it makes me so proud. starting Monday we are starting second grade hooked on phonics. She loves to read and is trying so hard so that she can read on her own. The teachers are all so amazed at how smart she is and says that she is well advanced for her age. She is always trying to learn new things and if she keeps going by the end of elementary school she will be reading well over a sixth grade level. I am talking to the teacher today to see if they can give her a little more difficult books to read since she has mastered all the easy ones. I dont want her to get bored. I am the most proudest mom in the whole world.

my kid started preschool yesterday. we had to attend her first day of school. she had a blast. we had a few issues with her sharing and sitting still but other than that she was fine. i wanted to cry so bad because she is growing up. it seemed like yesterday i was holding her in my arms and now she is four years old. i think she will love school and looking forward to her next day which is tomorrow. dont blink cause that is when they grow up and you miss it.

my kid is starting preschool next week and i am so nervous about it. I wonder how she will do in it, will she make friends, will she do good in school. It seems like yesterday when i held her in my arms as a baby and now she is going to school. she is growing up so fast. i just know i am gonna cry her first day.
