Dance the Night Away The alligator put on his best suit and tie. The ballet tonight was for love. Big Apple in the sky said it was time to go. All gather at the field just above the local pond. Crickets, birds and wind were all ready to start playing their sweet songs for all to dance too. Bunnies did their bunny hop dance. Foxes began their new fox trot. Jitterbugs got their moves on. Some begin to line up for the limbo contest. A pony rumba about with the wild mustang. Turkey waltz about with the peacock. The turtle’s began their cake-walk dance. Near A Mountain Cabin Ants are busy searching for food by a cabin high the hills that lays within reach of nearby mountain. Near a mountain cabin is where I can stand to look down upon a huge lake where bass are jumping about free. Bee hums of spring about the porch. A butterfly flutters about the roses and plants. I turn to see my old dear friend the cardinal has a new family within him this year. The chipmunks are chasing each other about the flush green grass. Last night I lay within my bed listening to the cricket sing of life in bloom. Dam is were the deer seem to hide these from the hunters, So the does can have their fawns in safety. A dove flew in my kitchen window today; its song was for me. Ferns are now become the playground for the new fawn and a curious rabbit. Near a mountain cabin, if you so dare to stop to see. Life begins and ends within such peaceful ways. As the morning is just about rise, You can catch the glimpse of the red fox lurking in the fog. Hawk screams for the warning of life is beginning again upon new day. Huckleberry near the logs by the lake seems to have got some new renters. A bull frog that seems to always croaks about nothing and eats all the flies. The owl sits in oak tree that has moss growing around. Pine trees stand tall and sway with the gentle breeze upon life. Robin watches the road that leads up to the near a mountain cabin that hides out of sight for the main road. A rock sits just a few feet away from the porch has a skunk that seem to always rest upon it as the sun is rising upon a new day. The trees are full with eager squirrels that seem to love getting to the cabin to steal whatever they can find. I find all I hate is the wasps that seem to always want to sting me. I took long walk within nature And Found that nothing is wrong here. It is within the life of us, humans that fail to see, How perfect life can be, if just stop to see and watch around us what is missing that we can found here… Near a mountain cabin, Where life is in harmony and perfection as we should be? &copy2007 Firestar

I wake to find my pillow wet from tears. How did I lose you? I pace the floors to my heart pains. I look out in the darkness, I see you chasing me. I feel the love that held me strong and ground. Yet as my tears begin to fall again, I come to see. Here I am alone with memories of what you were to me. Lost within a dream of loving you. Each time I feel the wind upon me. It’s like your warm arms of love holding me close to you. Why did this happen to us? We had it all. Our love was endless as time. Two hearts created to be one. But all I have now is my lostness within a dream of loving you. I go back down the hallway that seems to be full of looming sorrow about me.
