"Purple Passion"
I like the color purple, it's my favorite you see,
I can't get enough, It's a passion with me.
Divided by green, and bundles of blue,
God's canvas was kissed by purple and you.
Shades of purple are seldomly found,
Sprinkled like salt, to brighten the world so round.
Before God found the seventh day too much,
He found the royal color added an elegant touch.
He placed it accordingly to his final plan,
To surprise and marvel what he called man.
In flowers, rainbows, and sunsetting rays,
The brilliance of purple adds joy to our days.
In numerous ways, it almost always fades,
The hot sun fades deep purple to various shades.
Each one always brings me a cheerful smile,
Makes my imagination wander that extra mile.
If I could paint my heart a color besides red,
I'd surely choose deep metallic purple instead.
I'd wear purple lipstick to kiss you passionately all over,
While we playfully roll in fragrant fields of purple clover.
