"Summer Spin"
I just want to drive as far as I can
With no particular place in mind.
With music blasting my thoughts away
And my eyes on the center stripes that I find.
Taking in the scenery...
With every breath of fresh air
The mountains, the ocean, the countryside...
The asphault with the sun's glare.
It's all a new awakening,
And I just want to go fast!
Speeding down the great highways of life
As my dreams are cast.
My tires kiss the pavement,
With excitement they squeal.
The summer heat upon my shoulders,
Oh, I love the way it makes me feel.
I'll stop to refuel my thoughts,
Wash the windshield, look at my car and grin,
As I can't wait to get back on the highway
To go for another good 'ole spin.
