Ok...just so you're "in the know"...here's how I work. If you ever hear me talk about dessert it has nothing to do with food. People are usually more apt to understand something when it's in the form of a basic analogy...so, here's my way of describing my sexual preferences. Men are like my entree and women are like my dessert. You can live without dessert, but you're not going to last long without the main course.

I don't know what to say. I don't know what to do. Every day that passes with no news I feel like I'm regressing. Every hour, minute and second growing more depressing. Things used to be for sure and concrete. Now my feelings are shaky and obsolete. Insecure of what may become. Unsure of my feelings being shunned. Lost without you, I have no way. Lost without you, I know not what to do.

Friendship is defined as the quality or condition of being friends As we go through life, we begin to see that things are not so black and white We begin to develop opinions, thoughts and definitions of our own We understand that there are words that carry a greater meaning A meaning that cannot simply be expressed by words The true definition of these words is known, not explained We learn the definition through not only words, but by actions Not only our own actions, but by the actions of others around us Friendship is one of the words that carries a much greater meaning We learn friendship by living life Every so often we are lucky enough to find a true friend Even less often, people are lucky enough to have a group of true friends True friends are people that will not judge you or your actions They will be by your side through thick and thin They will support you through good decisions and bad They will also let you know when you make a bad decision They are the people that tell you how it is, whether good or bad But they are also the people that will love you no matter what They are the first people you will seek approval or support from They are the first people to congratulate you on the little things Little things that acquaintances won’t notice True friends should be kept close and cherished So, today and everyday, Colleen, we want you to know That you are a true friend We value you and your friendship in a way that others will never know
