Friendship is defined as the quality or condition of being friends
As we go through life, we begin to see that things are not so black and white
We begin to develop opinions, thoughts and definitions of our own
We understand that there are words that carry a greater meaning
A meaning that cannot simply be expressed by words
The true definition of these words is known, not explained
We learn the definition through not only words, but by actions
Not only our own actions, but by the actions of others around us
Friendship is one of the words that carries a much greater meaning
We learn friendship by living life
Every so often we are lucky enough to find a true friend
Even less often, people are lucky enough to have a group of true friends
True friends are people that will not judge you or your actions
They will be by your side through thick and thin
They will support you through good decisions and bad
They will also let you know when you make a bad decision
They are the people that tell you how it is, whether good or bad
But they are also the people that will love you no matter what
They are the first people you will seek approval or support from
They are the first people to congratulate you on the little things
Little things that acquaintances won’t notice
True friends should be kept close and cherished
